Nursery & Planting Material
Our nursery division is the backbone of BHC. We propagate, grow, and supply certified planting material — grafted fruit saplings, ornamental plants, vegetable seedlings, and rootstocks — to farmers, institutions, and trade buyers across Bardhaman and West Bengal.
- Grafted fruit saplings (mango, guava, citrus, litchi)
- Vegetable seedlings — seasonal and year-round
- Ornamental and landscaping plants
- Bulk supply for commercial growers and institutions
- Quality checks at every propagation stage
Soil Testing Laboratory
Established in 2005, our on-campus soil testing lab delivers precise, farm-specific nutrient and pH analyses. We help farmers and commercial growers understand exactly what their soil needs — so every input decision is backed by data, not guesswork.
- Macronutrient analysis (N, P, K)
- Micronutrient and pH profiling
- Organic carbon and salinity testing
- Farm-specific fertiliser recommendation reports
- Turnaround in 3–5 working days
Technical & Farm Advisory
Launched in 2019, our structured advisory programme brings qualified agronomists directly to smallholder and commercial farms. Whether you need crop planning, pest management advice, or post-harvest guidance, our team visits on-site and delivers actionable recommendations.
- On-farm crop assessment and diagnostic visits
- Integrated pest and disease management
- Irrigation and fertigation scheduling
- Post-harvest handling and storage advice
- Seasonal crop planning for smallholders
Floriculture
BHC's floriculture unit supports both commercial flower growers and home gardeners. We supply quality cut-flower seedlings, potted ornamentals, and landscaping plant material while offering technical guidance on protected cultivation and post-harvest flower care.
- Cut-flower seedlings (marigold, chrysanthemum, gerbera)
- Potted ornamental and foliage plants
- Landscaping and avenue planting supply
- Protected/polyhouse floriculture advisory
- Post-harvest flower handling guidance
Vegetable Production Support
We support vegetable growers at every stage — from providing certified seedlings and hybrid varieties to advising on crop scheduling, nutrition management, and market-oriented production planning across Bardhaman district.
- Hybrid and open-pollinated vegetable seedlings
- Seasonal crop calendar and scheduling support
- Nutrition and irrigation advisory for vegetables
- Market-linkage guidance for commercial producers
- Integrated crop management training sessions
Post-Harvest & Trade Support
BHC assists growers and agri-businesses with post-harvest handling practices, storage guidance, and bulk procurement support. We help producers reduce losses and access better markets through practical advisory and our network under Samiun Agromarine LLP.
- Post-harvest handling and grading guidance
- Cold storage and packaging advisory
- Bulk and institutional procurement support
- Market price and buyer network information
- Liaison with Samiun Agromarine LLP trade channels
